TDA’s new Board has conducted three
meetings and
discussed some issues so far.
It is to be recalled that a new TDA Board was established during the 7th regular meeting of the Association conducted on 2nd and 3rd of September 2006 This Board has convened on September 18, October 8 and November 4 2006 at the liaison office in A.A. On
its 1st meeting, September 18/2006, the board members get acquainted
each other.
The
then chair man of TDA’s Board, Ato Araya Zerihun,
briefly explained about TDA to the new members. The
Board has elected its chair person and deputy chair
person. Accordingly Dr. Welday Amaha and Dr Amaha Assefa
were elected as chair person and vice chair person of
TDA’s Board, respectively.
During its second meeting on October 8/2006, the Board heard a report on major activities of the association during the three months and discussed how to proceed for the coming three months Issues about kelamino building, TDA house, and preparing TDA’s new strategic plan were discussed In effect, specific assignments on these three matters were given to sub-committees The following agendas were set for discussion by the board during the board’s 3rd meeting. 1. Adopting previous meetings minutes. 2. Hearing reports of the sub-committees on their assignments. 3.
Hearing on Selam Transportation Share Company report.
4. Constructing memorial statue to late Ato Araya Zerihun
